Shereel Washington is the Curator, Director and Head Instructor of an exciting new program: MOVE: Spirit & Rhythm at Deep Root Center for Spiritual Studies, Oakland, CA.

(MOVE) perpetuates cultural dance traditions of Hawai'i and the African Diasport and celebrates the spirit that connects humanity.

MOVE is a unique and meaningful cultural dance experience, as a part of Deep Root, that offers classes onsite, online, and recorded.

Who is the program for? MOVE is for anyone seeking connection through movement and want to experience a healthy cultural practice of dance whether new or experienced.

Ka Hula Wednesday (ON ZOOM) 6-7 PM  & Saturday (OUTDOORS) 10-11AM

Morning Flexibility Thursday (ON ZOOM) 8 AM

Beginning Modern Dance Friday (ON ZOOM) 6-7 PM

Pan African Dance Saturday (OUTDOORS) 12-1 PM
