Halau Hula `O Kupukalau`ie`ie and IXALT invite you to explore he ho`okupu no kakou-(a gift for all) in Between The Shore and The Break, a story shared through hula-acknowledging our beginnings, celebrating in the moment, and anticipating the future.
It's been a long awaited 2.5 months that IXALT and Halau Hula ` O Kupukalau`ie`ie have been preparing to present ' a story shared through hula' in Between The Shore and The Break. 
Halau Hula `O Kupukalau`ie`ie and IXALT invite you to explore he ho`okupu no kakou-(a gift for all) in Between The Shore and The Break, a story shared through hula-acknowledging our beginnings, celebrating in the moment, and anticipating the future. Between The Shore... will be narrated by Joseph Washington; Choreographed by Kumu Hula Analu Akao; and Performed by Lehua DeFiesta, Wailani Hebert, and Shereel Washington of Halau Hula ` O Kupukalau`ie`ie. Admission is FREE and will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2012, 7PM at The Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts on 1428 Alice St., Downtown Oakland, 3rd Floor Studio E.
